The Grand River Hospital Foundation is committed to raising funds to help Grand River Hospital provide exceptional health care.  To this end, the Architects of Care Leadership Gift Program was launched in 2003, with the goal to redevelop the hospital’s Intensive Care and Inpatient Oncology Units, and to create a Brachytherapy Suite.  With the overwhelming support of our donors, our $4.2 million goal was reached in early 2007.

Responding to the growing needs of our community, we have now embarked on the next phase of Architects of Care.  Our goal is to raise $8 million by 2012.  The Leadership gift program will raise $5 million, while other foundation programs, including bequests and annual programs will raise the remaining $3 million.

To better serve our patients, the hospital is redeveloping a number of patient care areas including Surgical Services, Mental Health Services, Outpatient Care and the Intensive Care Unit.  Funds raised by the Foundation during this phase of Architects of Care will provide funding for equipment and furnishings for these renovated areas.
