Regional Program Council Terms of Reference
Background:
See Waterloo Wellington RCP Statement of Collaboration
Purpose:
To provide a forum for cancer providers, consumers and other key
stakeholders to come together with a common cause of improving the quality,
efficiency and effectiveness of cancer services within the Waterloo
Wellington LHIN.
Objectives:
- Report on the performance of the cancer services within the LHIN
- Present and receive feedback from the community on an annual regional cancer plan that is based on performance results
- Facilitate stakeholder input into regional cancer planning and evaluation
- Address such other matters as the RCP Council members deem important
Chair:
Vice-President, Regional Cancer Services (or delegate)
Membership:
Representatives of those organizations, which affirm the statement of
collaboration and provide cancer services within the continuum of care
Meeting Frequency:
Meetings will be held semi-annually, typically in the spring and fall of
each year, one of the meetings to be linked to the release of the Cancer
Service Quality Index
Invitation to attend the council meetings will be extended to members of the RCP committees, working groups and associated networks
