Arthur and Ella Witt lived modest, hard-working lives. Arthur, a veteran of the Second World War, worked in manufacturing as a foreman and administrator. Ella was a homemaker, and is remembered as a loving and caring mother.
After Art and Ella passed away, their children wanted to do something for Grand River Hospital in honour of their parents, and in gratitude for the excellent care provided to Art during his final months. They chose to make a leadership gift in support of patient intravenous pumps and education for Freeport staff. Grand River Hospital Foundation is grateful for their generosity.
