Mental health care doesn't utilize expensive medical equipment like MRIs or cardiac monitors”, said Dr. John Heintzman, chief of
psychiatry at GRH.
“There is no machine that diagnoses and treats mental illness. Rather, the patients and families we serve rely on the
expertise and knowledge of our clinical staff to provide quality, compassionate care.”

“One in four people will experience a mental illness in their lifetime, so having highly trained clinicians to serve mental health patients in
our community is important” said Jim Hallman, Trustee of the Hallman Foundation.
“We are proud to take a leadership role in
supporting children and adults with mental health issues.”

“With the recent growth of our mental health services and expansion of facilities, our mental health and addictions staff has also grown,
said Jenny Rajaballey
, vice president of mental health, diagnostics and redevelopment.  “The Hallman Foundation gift will be instrumental
in bringing a comprehensive education program to this staff group, and helping us with our vision of ‘instilling hope…fostering recovery’.”
