Memorial Gifts
This is a wonderful way to honour the memory of a deceased friend or loved one. As with all donations, memorial gifts may be unrestricted or designated to the area of your choice. Click here to make your memorial donation.
General Donations
General gifts from donors are used for renovations and patient care equipment at Freeport Health Centre, KW Health Centre, and Grand River Regional Cancer Centre. General gifts enable the Hospital to continue to provide the high quality care for which we are known. Click here to make a donation.

Monthly Giving
Monthly giving is an easy, convenient and cost effective way for you to make monthly contributions to Grand River Hospital Foundation and help hundreds of patients receive safe, quality care with up-to-date equipment and facilities. Bequests in your Will
The Grand River Hospital Foundation is pleased to accept bequests – every gift amount goes a long way. A bequest to Grand River Hospital is a wonderful legacy and will touch patients and our community for years to come. Gifts of Securities
Donating publicly traded securities is becoming an increasingly popular way to make a charitable donation. It is quick, easy, and has excellent tax benefits to the donor. For more information click here.
Endowments
Donation to an endowment is another way to leave a lasting legacy to Grand River Hospital. Money in an endowment fund is invested, and provides annual interest which then purchases patient care equipment, improves facilities, funds research projects, or provides educational opportunities for hospital staff. Gifts-in-Kind
Gifts-in-Kind are non-cash gifts such as equipment. Contact the Foundation for further information.
Matching Corporate Gifts
Many companies will match gifts that they employees or retirees make to charities, which in turn doubles your gift and the impact it makes. Employees appreciate corporate support of their community involvement, and the public sees management and employees as working hand in hand for the common good. Matching gift programs also provide low-cost publicly. Please check to find out if your workplace has or would be interested in considering a matching gift program.
Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts are also encouraged by the Foundation. Honour an anniversary, birthday, retirement or any other special occasion with a donation. The Foundation will send a notification of your gift to the individual you are honouring. Click here for more information or here to make a tribute gift.
