Cash gifts
Cash gifts from donors are used for renovations and
patient care equipment at Freeport Health Centre, KW Health
Centre, and Grand River Regional Cancer Centre. Cash gifts
enable the Hospital to continue to provide the high quality
care for which we are known.
Childbirth
Celebration Wall
The Childbirth Celebration Wall commemorates the birth
of a new baby, a video screens will display the names, birth
dates and photographs of the cherished babies. Click here

Gifts-in-Kind
Gift-in-Kind are non-cash gifts, including securities,
real estate and tangible property such as equipment. They
are evaluated and appraised in order to confirm the value
and to provide an income tax receipt. Contact the Foundation
for further information.
Gifts of Time
Volunteering is a special donation that compliments the
staff in the delivery of health care and enhances the
personal wellbeing and comfort of patients.
Matching Corporate
Gifts
Many companies will match gifts that they employees or
retirees make to charities, which in turn doubles your gift
and the impact it makes. Employees appreciate corporate
support of their community involvement, and the public sees
management and employees as working hand in hand for the
common good. Matching gift programs also provide low-cost
publicly. Please check to find out if your workplace has or
would be interested in considering a matching gift program.
Memorial Gifts
This is are a wonderful way to honour the memory of a
deceased friend or loved one. As with all donations,
memorial gifts may be unrestricted or designated to the area
of your choice.
Monthly Giving
Monthly giving is an easy, convenient and cost effective way
for you to make monthly contributions to Grand River
Hospital Foundation and help hunreds of patients receive
safe, quality care with up-to-date equipment and facilities.
Planned Gifts
Planned gifts are becoming an increasingly popular way to
leave a lasting legacy. Bequests made through your will, and
special gifts by other methods, such as life insurance or
charitable trusts, will help patients for years to come.
Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts are also encouraged by the Foundation.
Honour an anniversary, birthday, retirement or any other
special occasion with a donation. The Foundation will send a
notification of your gift to the individual you are
honouring.
